From time-to-time I reflect on the path that I have traveled over the past 3 years, and how much time and effort was exerted. The many victories, as well as Failures, I have encountered, but more importantly, the amount of changes that were made in order to get to where I am today (what a journey it has been).
When you set a goal for yourself, you have to know that changes are in order, and you have to be willing to do things that are uncomfortable, that even feel weird because this is what it will take to be successful. So what exactly does change mean?
To make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone
to transform or convert (usually followed by into )
You see, we have been programmed/conditioned by our parents, the area we live in, the shows that we watch to do the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over, etc. again. Change is something that we do with our clothes, our hair, our car, our sheets (you get my point), but not with eating or exercising or breathing. The question I always ask is "why"?
If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, then a Change is needed. The Meal Plan and Fitness Plan that we develop for our members is designed with a purpose. If followed, the results will come - maybe not immediately, but they will come.
The motto that I live by is - Train Right, Work Hard, Get Results because nothing that we really strive for in life is easy. And I really believe if it was, it would not be very satisfying.
Lastly - be encouraged! You have already embarked on a Change or you would not be receiving this blog. But more importantly, you are not alone on your journey. There are many other members that are going through or have gone through the same course, so take advantage of reaching out to them on our Facebook group - we all have a story to share that can change someone's life for the better.
Let me know your thoughts, I would love to hear from you!
