Getting Started Guide to Intermittent Eating

As you begin your journey with intermittent eating using the Weekly Eating Plan as your guide, you need to keep the following "rules of thumb" in mind.

  1. Mentally and verbally state - "I need to dramatically cut down eating Sugar, Breads and Pasta" Yes, you need to say this because speaking is hearing, and hearing is receiving. And once receiving, you will be inclined to act upon what you spoke.

  2. Eat at least 20 grams of protein during your first meal after your fasting period ends e.g. 2 eggs, 1 piece of meat, and 2 slices of cheese.

  3. Drink at least 10 8 ozs of water in 1 day.

  4. Wait at least 3 hours before going to bed after your last meal.

  5. NO SNACKS BETWEEN FEEDINGS! Drink water and/or Coffee to help with your craving/hunger. If you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO EAT, only eat a SNACK no more than the size of your palm (click HERE to view our SNACK guide).

  6. Say out loud - "I CAN DO THIS!". Intermittent eating is one of the most natural things you do (click HERE to learn more).

  7. Remember that consistency breeds success!
